The giraffe center is located just 20 Minutes drive from Nairobi City center in Karen. The giraffe center is a conservation center that breeds the endangered Rothschild Giraffe in captivity and re-introduces them to the wild in an effort to save the species from extinction. A visit to the Giraffe center offers visitors a chance to see the giraffes at close range, touch them, feed them, kiss the giraffe and take selfies with the Giraffes. The center is surrounded by a 95 Acre natural forest that is a sanctuary for the Giraffes, Hyena, Warthogs, Bushbuls, Monkeys and plenty of birdlife. Visitors can go on guided safari trails to view the flora and fauna of the park. There is a seasonal river from the Ngong Hills tht cuts through the forest.
